10,000 Steps Across Time Zones

10,000 Steps is based in Central Queensland, Australia. Our website and mobile app features are set to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).

See What time is AEST for me? [links out to TimeandDate.com]

The time zone of your location may impact your entry of steps by day. Some devices will send data that will transfer steps correctly to match the time zone (that is, they will correct for the difference), and others might split steps over different days.

Where there is uncertainty, we recommend directly entering your first and last day of steps in any Challenge or Tournament that is time-based.

Our Annual Leaderboard, Group Challenges, Monthly Challenges, Tournaments, Health, State and Local Challenges start and end at midnight AEST.

This should be taken into account by Coordinators when setting up inter-state and international Challenges or Tournaments.
