A: If you have just created your account - welcome! Creating an account does not automatically link you to a particular challenge or Tournament.

To join a Tournament, register your interest with the Coordinator at your organisation. This is usually the person or team that is advertising the Tournament at your workplace or community group. They might have an email address or a registration form. Let them know that you have already created and verified your account.

To join a Tournament using a Team Invite Code that your Coordinator has already shared with you, check out Joining a Team using a Team Invite Code.

If you have already received an email letting you know you've been added to a Tournament, check out Current or Upcoming Tournaments. If you don't see your Tournament - check that you're logged in with the same account that was added.

Reach out to your Coordinator if you have questions about your Tournament. 10,000 Steps has support and information on technical aspects of the website and mobile app, but can't help you with questions about Tournament registration dates, team sizes or requirements, Tournament awards and prizes, or events happening at your organisation.

10,000 Steps has a range of other step challenges that you might also like to participate in. These are separate to Tournaments, are are usually run by 10,000 Steps.

To join the individual Monthly Challenges, check out Monthly Challenges.

To join an active or upcoming Health Challenge, check out Health Challenges.

To join a State or Local Challenge, check out State and Local Challenges.

To join a Group Challenge, check out Joining Group Challenges.

You can join these in addition to your Tournament - you only need to log your steps once to take part in several challenges at once!
