Step through Queensland this May in the FREE online 10,000 Steps Step into Nature Challenge! The May Challenge offers four virtual journeys across Queensland, designed for different activity levels. Join the Challenge and step into nature in your local area. As the weather starts to cool down in most parts of Australia, May is the perfect time to explore the outdoors. Track your steps each day in May and complete your journey for your chance to win a Garmin!*

Become a member of the 10,000 Steps community by registering for FREE. Sign up to access your personal account, available on both web and app where you can track and sync your steps, view your step statistics, connect with friends, and more. Already a member? Log in here.

Step 2: Join the Challenge
Step into Nature this May by selecting one of four scenic journeys through Queensland. Start tracking your steps from May 1 and view your progress on the Challenge leaderboard. Complete your journey by the end of the month to go in the draw to win a Garmin!*
Celebrate Step Into Nature
The Step into Nature Project aims to inspire and encourage people of all ages, abilities, and cultures to connect with nature and engage in regular active recreation and physical activity. Delivered through the 10,000 Steps Program, the campaign encourages all Queenslanders to be physically active in their local natural environments.

Kingaroy to Tin Can Bay
Step into May with a journey from the Peanut Capital to the Great Sandy Strait. To reach the sandy shores of Tin Can Bay, you will need an average of 7,000 steps each day.

Goal Kicker
Townsville to Tully
Join us on a journey from the unofficial capital of North Queensland to one of the wettest towns in Australia. To reach the lush sugarcane of Tully, you will need an average of 10,000 steps each day.

Limit Pusher
Muttaburra to Hughenden
Explore fossil-dotted plains on a journey from Muttaburra to the dinosaur capital of Australia. To reach Hughenden, you will need an average of 13,000 steps each day.

Trail Blazer
Currawinya National Park to Charleville
Cut a path with a journey through the red sandy dunes of the Channel Country. To reach the starry skies of Charleville, you will need an average of 16,000 steps each day.
